Artemis

DKK 10,500.00

This lovely Goddess is made of 14 carat gold with freshwater Pearl and 0.03ct tw.vs Diamond.

I call this design Artemis. Artemis was the Greek Goddess of the hunt, wild animals and wild nature. Some traditions viewed her as Goddess of the Moon. She is often depicted with a halfmoon and her attributes are a bow and arrows.

The Pearl is such a wonderful gem. It is a symbol of the Goddess, purity, love, abundance, protection and wisdom gained through experience. The Pearl is created when a small “intruder”, like a grain of sand or other foreign material, enters an oyster (on rarer occasions a mussel or clam) and the oyster begins to coat the object with many layers of nacre as a means of protection. Quite a beautiful defence mechanism, don’t you think? It can take many years to form a Pearl and with every layer it becomes more valuable and rich in colour and radiance. Just like we become more wise and radiant through our life experience.

The Diamond is such an intensely bright gemstone. It works on all levels of the energy system and infuses light into any context. It enhances the frequency of any gem, emotion and context it is placed in and enhances clarity of mind.

(Whereas the Diamond is the hardest known mineral, the Pearl is more delicate. It’s radiance is enhanced by the natural oil of our skin but they should be protected (as much as possible) from products with even mild acids (e.g. citrus oils), as such products can dull the surface of the Pearl over time)
